The credit union was federally chartered in 1934 by the National Credit Union Administration for the employees of the U.S. Pipe & Foundry. Over the history of the credit union the charter has been amended many times adding new groups and companies that had a common bond with the U.S. Pipe & Foundry.
In 1994 the credit union filed and was approved by the National Credit Union for a community charter. With this amendment, it enabled the credit union to serve the people whom live, work and worship in the community of Tarrant. |
